Prices / Products

The prices indicated on the website and at the time of payment for the products are inclusive of all taxes. As part of temporary discount programs organized by mylittlevideo, the prices shown take into account the applicable discounts. The same applies to promotional codes specific to each user.

Ordering on the Website

Creating a Customer Account:

The customer may place an order on the website provided that they are logged in to their account. To obtain their login credentials and create their personal account, the customer must complete a form provided for this purpose, in which they provide the information required for identification: first name, last name, email address, time zone and a password of their choice. To log in, the customer must then enter their email address and password. The password is personal and confidential. Each customer is entirely responsible for the use and safekeeping of their password. Each customer agrees to take all necessary measures to keep their password secret and not disclose it to anyone. In order to preserve the confidentiality of their password, customers are advised to log out of the website at the end of each order. In the event of loss or accidental disclosure of information that could allow a third party to gain knowledge of a customer's password, the password can be changed from the My Account page, under the “My Details” section. If the customer forgets their password, they should go to the “Reset my password” section below the login area (padlock icon with a curved arrow). The customer will then receive a password reset email at the email address provided during registration.

Ordering Process:

Any order placed by the customer constitutes unconditional acceptance of the prices and description of the products ordered. From the products available on the website, the customer selects the product they wish to purchase by clicking the “Confirm and Proceed to Payment” button. The customer must enter their billing details and check the contents of their order before finalizing it by clicking the “Proceed to Payment” button. To complete and validate the order, the customer must, after checking the order summary and reading and accepting these General Terms and Conditions, enter the information required to make the payment. The order shall only be considered final and binding on the parties once the customer has paid the order price. Until the order is validated, the customer may cancel or modify the order at any time. At the time of payment, the customer will be asked to confirm the contents of their cart. In order to combat fraud, mylittlevideo reserves the right to request from the customer any documents necessary to verify their identity, the authenticity of their payment method and/or their address.

How It Works

How the Offer Works

1. You log in or create an account.
2. Either you enter your loved one’s details (first name, last name and email address), or you do not enter their details and choose to send the video yourself.
3. If you choose to have the video sent directly to your loved one, you must select the date on which you want them to receive your video (up to 1 year from the payment date). You can still change this date free of charge from your personal account (My Videos page).
4. You enter your promo code, if you have one.
5. You make a secure payment by credit card.
6. You can then record your video whenever you wish; you do not have to record it immediately.
7. You answer our questionnaire, which allows you to express your feelings to your loved one through questions based on your relationship and emotions. A timeline shows you how much time you have left for each question. For each question, buttons allow you to: restart, watch, validate or skip the question. After the final question, you can watch your entire video and/or validate your video. Until you have validated your entire video, you can always return to a specific question and answer it again. You can also save your recording and resume it later.
8. Your video will be available for download in your personal account once you have validated it. If you have entered your loved one’s details, they will receive an email allowing them to download the video on the selected date.

Receiving the Video:

If you have entered your loved one’s details: Your loved one will receive your video as a download link by email on the date you previously selected. Your video will also be available for download from your personal account (My Videos page). You can change the date on which your video is received free of charge directly from your personal account (My Videos page).

If you have not entered your loved one’s details: Once validated, your video will be available for download from your personal account (My Videos page).

The download link is valid for 1 year. As long as the video has not been downloaded, you will receive email reminders.

Deleting a Video:

If you wish, you can permanently delete your video before its download date. If you do so, your video will disappear from your personal account. If you permanently delete your video, your loved one will not receive any notification or download link for the video. If you decide to permanently delete your video after the download availability date, and therefore after your loved one has received the download link, the link will lead to an error message. However, your loved one may have downloaded the video between the time the link was sent and the time you permanently deleted the video.

Invoice

Once payment has been made, the invoice will be available in your personal account.

Payment

The price is payable in full by the customer at the time of the order. The order shall only become final once payment has been effectively made, with payment being deemed effective only after the amounts due have been fully and successfully collected. At the end of the online ordering process, the following payment method is available to settle the amount due:

Terms of Use for Discount Coupons

mylittlevideo may issue coupons entitling the holder to a reduction in the price of a purchase, either as a fixed amount or as a percentage. Unless otherwise stated, a coupon is valid only once per legal or natural person. Coupons are valid for a limited period of time.

Order Cancellation

mylittlevideo reserves the right to cancel any order and permanently delete the customer’s account in the event of verbal abuse towards mylittlevideo staff, with the use of vulgar or offensive language being considered a form of verbal abuse.

Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with the provisions of Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal may not be exercised in respect of:

• the supply of digital content not provided on a physical medium, where performance has begun after the consumer’s prior express consent and express waiver of their right of withdrawal.

By validating their order, the Customer:

• expressly acknowledges that the service consists of the supply of personalized digital content (recording and delivery of a personalized video);
• gives their consent for the performance of the service to begin immediately after payment;
• expressly waives their right of withdrawal.

Consequently, no request for cancellation, refund or exchange may be accepted after payment.

Product Warranties

mylittlevideo acts solely as a technical service provider for the creation, hosting and/or distribution of personalized videos, without exercising any editorial control over the content provided or recorded by customers.

Consequently, mylittlevideo shall not be held liable for any statements, comments, images, sounds or messages broadcast in videos created by customers, including where such content is offensive, defamatory, insulting, discriminatory or infringes upon the honor, reputation or privacy of others.

The customer remains solely responsible for the content of the videos they create or have created through the mylittlevideo platform, as well as for any consequences such content may have on the persons to whom the videos are intended.

Any complaint, claim or legal action brought by a recipient or third party as a result of statements contained in a video shall be the sole responsibility of the customer, who undertakes to indemnify and hold mylittlevideo harmless against any claim, judgment, costs or damages that may arise therefrom.

mylittlevideo shall not be held liable for the non-delivery of videos in the event that the video is deleted by the user from their personal account. mylittlevideo cannot guarantee that users will receive their video at all or on the selected date in the event of a cyberattack, a crash or any local, national or international digital or technical issue, or in the event that CYC BUSINESS ceases its operations. In the latter case, the videos will be sent to customers at the time the company closes.

Complaints

All complaints relating to online orders must be submitted by the customer. They must be sent by email to info@mylittlevideo.com or submitted via the contact form on the “Contact” page. The customer must report the issue and provide all information necessary for mylittlevideo to process the request as quickly as possible. Any complaint must be submitted within fifteen (15) days of the effective payment date. The customer will be informed, within forty-eight (48) business hours of mylittlevideo receiving their request, of the response to their complaint. The customer may challenge the decision of the Customer Service Department within seven (7) days following the closure of the initial complaint; after this period, any challenge may be rejected. After two challenges, the complaint will be definitively closed by our services.

Intellectual Property

The customer is solely responsible for the content of the products once they have been personalized with the materials they have provided (videos recorded or uploaded). The customer represents and warrants that they have all the rights and authorizations necessary to include in the products any objects, images, trademarks, photographs, logos, drawings or other materials, and guarantees mylittlevideo that such rights and authorizations are valid, and that the use of the products does not and will not constitute any infringement of the rights of any third party. Likewise, the customer is solely responsible for any failure to include mandatory notices. The customer also represents that the products they order are not likely to constitute counterfeits or infringe upon the rights of third parties and, more generally, that the creation and production of the products will not violate any applicable rights, rules or laws. Accordingly, the customer shall indemnify and hold mylittlevideo harmless against any action or claim arising from such rights and undertakes to compensate mylittlevideo for all consequences resulting from any action brought by third parties who consider themselves adversely affected by the distribution and, more generally, the use of the products ordered.

Validity

If any provision of these General Terms and Conditions is or becomes partially or entirely null and void, the remaining provisions shall remain valid. The null and void provision shall be replaced by the applicable legal provisions.

Personal Data

mylittlevideo is committed to respecting the customer’s privacy, as well as the security and confidentiality of the personal data and information provided by the customer. As part of the collection and processing of personal data, mylittlevideo provides the customer with all information relating to the conditions governing the processing of their personal data and the rights available to them under its Personal Data Protection Policy, accessible on the website.

As a reminder, the customer has:

• the right to access all of their personal data that is being processed;
• the right to request its rectification;
• the right to request its erasure;
• the right to request the restriction of its processing;
• the right to object at any time to the processing of their personal data for marketing and/or statistical purposes;
• the right to define instructions regarding the retention, erasure and communication of their personal data after their death;
• the right to lodge a complaint with the French National Commission for Information Technology and Civil Liberties (Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés).
